On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan, flag hoisting ceremony was held at Pakistan House Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
His Excellency Sajjad Ahmed Seehar inaugurated the 3rd edition of Made in Pakistan – Single Country Exhibition 2022 – in Almaty. Around 60 leading private sector companies from Pakistan are participating in the event. He congratulated and thanked USAID PREIA & Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Islamabad for organizing the event.
Ambassador Sajjad Ahmed Seehar visited Semey Medical University on 10 March 2022. The Ambassador was received by the staff of the university, headed by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Altay Dyussupov. Ambassador visited the university museum, lecture halls, classrooms, the Department of simulation technologies, the University Hospital, with the Emergency Medical Care Hospital of Semey. Ambassador while interacting with Pakistani students inquired about their studies, well-being, and extracurricular activities.
A press briefing was held for Kazakh media on 1st March 2022 at a local hotel. The purpose of the briefing was to apprise local media about the significance of the forthcoming 48th Session of the OIC-Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) scheduled to be held in Islamabad on 22-23 March 2022.
A 30-member business delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the 1st ever Pakistan Engineering and HealthCare Expo 2022, organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in Lahore from 25-27 February 2022.
Ambassador Sajjad Ahmed Seehar visited Eurasian National University, Nur-Sultan on 08 February 2022. He was received by Mr. Miras Kosybayev, Dean, Department of International Relations, Mrs. Gulnara Merzadinova, Board member, – Vice-Rector for Science, Commercialization and Internationalization & Ms. Anastasia Karmelyuk, Director of the Department. They discussed the renovation of the Pakistan Cultural and Language Centre (PCLC) in Eurasian National University and agreed to strengthen cooperation in the field of education.
