Trade Development Authority of Pakistan under the support of Ministry of Commerce is organizing a Roadshow at Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in May 2016. The event is organized as a follow up of the visit of Prime Minister of Pakistan to these countries. Event is aimed to create awareness about Pakistani products in these regional markets and providing to Pakistani businessmen for availing best of opportunities offered in opening of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). A large thematic composite display will be built on each station for product display. During the two days event at each station, besides a large composite display of Pakistani products there will also be product stalls of 40 to 50 companies. On the sidelines of the event, B2B meetings, Seminars, Mango Festival and Cultural performances and Fashion Show are also planned as sideline activities. It is expected that 100 to 150 Businessmen will also visit each station as part of a trade delegation.
2. Exhibition Manager would be required to manage all above activities and will provide ancillary services. Terms of reference for the exhibition are mentioned in details with clarity on all components of the event. There will be no compromise on quality and services described in the BOQs.
3. Bidding documents and other related information for the purpose can be obtained, on written request to Commercial Office, Embassy of Pakistan, Almaty at the address given below. The firm will submit their sealed Technical Proposals and Financial Proposal in bold and legible letters to avoid any confusion.
4. Financial proposals should accompany a bid security equivalent to two per cent (2%) of the bid amount in the form specified in the Bidding documents.
5. Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure would be used for Open Competitive Bidding.
6. Sealed tender documents shall be submitted latest by 14th April, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with the Commercial Office, Embassy of Pakistan, Almaty and Technical Proposals shall be opened on the same day at 10:30 a.m. in the presence of representatives of the participating firms. The Financial Proposals of only technically qualified companies will be opened in next three days. Technically qualified companies will be invited during the opening of Financial Proposals. The proposal of lowest bidder will be accepted subject to meeting all requirements mentioned in the tender documents.
7. Commercial Office, Embassy of Pakistan, Almaty reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to annul the bidding process at any time, however, reasons for rejection or annulling bid process will be communicated to the concerned bidder (s) in accordance with the Procurement Rules.
